The Institute is committed to delivering professional development that supports the competency, professionalism, and regulatory awareness of early childhood professionals and home childcare providers.
All training programs are designed to align with recognized early childhood education practices and regulatory frameworks applicable to home childcare operations within the United States.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all educational programs offered by the Institute, including:
• Professional development courses
• Certificate workshops
• CEU-aligned training programs
• Instructor-led training sessions
• Recorded or self-paced digital learning programs
• Future in-person training delivered through the Institute’s Implementation Lab
This policy applies to all participants enrolled in Institute learning programs.
3. Professional Development Standards
All Institute courses are developed using structured professional training standards to ensure quality, consistency, and measurable learning outcomes.
Each course must include:
• Clearly defined learning objectives
• Structured instructional modules
• Practical scenario applications
• Knowledge assessment components
• Participant learning materials or workbook resources
• Documented completion requirements
Courses are designed to support professional competency in areas such as:
• childcare program operations
• regulatory compliance
• supervision standards

• documentation and record-keeping
• risk mitigation and program stability
4. Learning Format
Professional development programs may be delivered in one or more of the following formats:

• In-person seminars delivered through the Institute’s training facilities
The Institute utilizes a secure learning management system for online course delivery and participant tracking.
5. Participant Responsibilities
Participants enrolled in Institute training programs are responsible for:
• reviewing course materials in full
• completing all required learning modules
• participating in scenario or case study exercises where applicable
• completing the required knowledge assessment
• maintaining academic integrity during course participation
Participants must complete all course requirements independently.
6. Completion Requirements
Participants must complete all course requirements in order to receive a certificate of completion.
Completion requirements may include:
• viewing all instructional modules
• reviewing required course materials
• completing workbook exercises where applicable
• successfully completing the course knowledge assessment
Where a knowledge assessment is required, participants must achieve the minimum passing score established for the course.
Incomplete courses will not receive a certificate.
7. Certificates of Completion
Upon successful completion of course requirements, participants will receive an official Certificate of Professional Development Completion issued by the Institute.
Certificates include:

• number of training hours completed

• Institute name and authorization signature

Violation of these standards may result in removal from the course without certificate issuance.
